This is an excellent documentary style account of the postwar struggles between the title bandit's forces and the caribineri in Sicily and the controversy surrounding his death. Roger Corman B movie and spaghetti western veteran Frank Wolff has one of his best roles here as Giuliano's lieutenant. Fans of FOUR DAYS IN NAPLES and BATTLE OF ALGIERS will enjoy this one.
