Synopsis

After going after the health insurance industry with Sicko, Michael Moore took to Wall Street to rail against those "Masters of the Universe" who brought down the global economy and profited, while everyone else was left to suck an egg. Moore doesn't provide any real answers amidst the usual stunts, ambushes and amusing edits we've grown to love about his movies, but he does deploy brilliant archival footage of FDR and elucidates some hidden corporate practices that would shock the beard off the most jaded of Marxists.

Michael Moore---USA---2009---120 mins.

At his best, Moore shows the hypocrisy of our government and American culture. At his worst, he is preachy. 'Capitalism: A Love Story' falls on the preachy side. Yes, corporations have taken over our government, yes it's sad that people are victims of unfair loaning practices. No, I don't need to be reminded of it. I like Michael Moore, but just not when he is pointing a finger in my face.
