The Oscar-winning actor regularly cited as one of the greatest screen performers of the twentieth century appears in five Hollywood favorites. Julius Caesar (Joseph L. Mankiewicz, 1953, 120 mins.) stars Brando as Mark Antony in a lavish MGM production of the Shakespeare play. James Mason, John Gielgud, Edmond O'Brien, and Deborah Kerr co-star. Teahouse of the August Moon (Daniel Mann, 1956, 123 mins.) is a postwar comedy, starring Brando as an Okinawan interpreter for the U.S. military. Brando makes a foppish Fletcher Christian in Mutiny on the Bounty (Lewis Milestone, 1962, 177 mins.), a lavish MGM rendering of the tale of rebellion in the Sou th Seas. With Trevor Howard and Richard Harris. The film was shot on location i n Tahiti. Reflections in a Golden Eye (John Huston, 1967, 109 mins.) is set on a Georgia army base, where sexual tensions simmer under the sun. Bas ed on Carson McCullers'' novel, the wonderfully overripe film stars Elizabeth Taylor, Julie Harris, and Robert Forster. Finally, The Formula (John G. Avildsen, 1980, 117 mins.) finds police detective George C. Scott investigating the murder of an old friend. Brando plays a billionaire oil Joseph L.
